Do you mainly play shoot-‘em-ups? The Seimitsu LS-56 isn’t great for fighting games since it’s too stiff. Can you fit an LS-40 in there without having to modify the wires and connections like with a Sanwa?

before DVD, the 3DO and Phillips CDI get that MPEG 1 earlyier, i got this on my sega Saturn, but the format was niche, it never realy take off in Europe, because it was kind of a lofi digital version of a laserdisc on CD the quality was less good than a VHS but not so bad especialy for adding FMV on game it was premium digital video format before MPEG 2 and DVD came...

I was lucky enough to play a Virtua Fighter 3 deluxe cabinet in 2011.

There’s tons of room on the inside to run a jammer switcher. how do you handle hooking up for the guns without doing it by hand? it’s going to be a pain ass. Always have to connect them every time you play a different game.

Folk's were able to play the MVS ROM on MAME? Even following the protocol of adding the game on hash file, MAME can't recognize the game and while I can play it through command line just typing *mame neogeo xenocrisis* from my frontend, it never works unfortunately.

Oh I still have this VCD card for the PSX, and it also function as a GameShark. This is where I used to watch those xxx prated VCD. Prated VCD was the the thing in the Philippines back then. 😂

The VCD was the worst ever format. It was prone to lots of stutters and audio delays and had worse quality than a VHS. It should've been discontinued the moment DVDs were made available.

KOTM definitely shouldn't even come close to a Bottom 5 list. You must have very peculiar standards.

The CPS1.5 boards are expensive. I bought mine from my friend, plus some other goodies like a Gamest mag, an SSF2 camera, and SF2 ornaments and a Tecmo Stackers PCB for $1000. Getting that for $500 and phoenixing it is a steal.

She seems like a very nice Person even to think about how the enemies in metal slug would feel burning :). Guess you can consider yourself a lucky guy!

I played Virtua fighter I and II on the arcade in college and elsewhere. Then I remember at Dave and Busters in Colorado there was a more modern virtua fitghter I think it was VF 3tb actually? this would have been between 2007-2009. It waa a larger arcade cabinet than the one for #1 and #2, do you happen to have any info on that arcade cabinet? i've never seen it anywhere else.

This is an advertisment for why you shouldn't go for a full collection of anything, I love most of the consoles fighting games and as good as metal slug is I wouldn't be buying a copy let alone have a copy of King of Monsters. You my friend are clearly a masochist.

I snagged one of these last summer for $700 CAD. Needed a new ram prom chip and a monitor rebuild. Had to pay a friend $100 to help me drag it out of an old dudes basement. Damn near 400lbs! Artwork is totally faded on one side and minty on the other side. I’ve got it all working and cleaned up perfectly now, I intend to leave it as is. One of my favorite games and will never sell this one! Hope you have one by now!

I know this is a late comment from the last one I posted, but I forgot to give my answer on my most hated Neo•Geo game that still got decent reactions: Double Dragon! Because I'm a fan of the originals, and SNK turned it into just another random Street Fighter II clone that makes the franchise lose its charm, style, personality, originality and uniqueness. What makes it worse is that it was inspired by the live-action flop. SNK should've just rebooted the original Double Dragon trilogy onto the Neo•Geo, and add in a versus mode that plays similarly to Aggressors of Dark Kombat.

This is still valid?? Getting the rom in this way?? Because I'm looking for this game atm
